It is unlikely that you will experience all of these at the same time but "peppering" is a good thing. This can happen when the light is absorbed in the skin and breaks up the pigment. The peppering usually lasts about 3-5 days. This will depend on how much sun damage, freckles, and brown spots are in the skin at the time of treatment.
Avoid any sun exporsure at least two (2) weeks before and after treatment IPL treatments. Stop using retinol, retinoids, or exfoliating products. Avoid any facial treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling, Neurotoxins, before your treatment to avoid any complications.
Keep your face cool and avoid saunas, swimming pools, hot showers. Apply gentle facial cleanser and lotion. We have a post procedure kit that retails for $36 we recommend. Avoid intensive workouts that produce sweat for at least 2 days. Lifting weights and walking is ok. Use sunscreen everyday. If your skins starts to flake, DO NOT PICK. :)
